Your retreat will be hosted by Ruth McCurdy and Brenda Harris. As corporate executives, Ruth and Brenda found themselves answering "Yes" to each of the questions above. Plagued by the day-to-day pressures of running a national multi-million dollar company as well as trying to achieve "Wonder Woman" status in all their other female roles, they know the value of gifting themselves with time to recharge the mental, physical and spiritual batteries.

The Wonderous Woman retreat program leads and encourages every woman to connect to all facets of her purpose and value. Our approach is to create experiential retreats in beautiful venues where you can connect to your mind, body and spirit.

Ruth McCurdy

Brenda Harris is known for her heart for people and her mind for business. She began her career as a retail buyer and then moved into a corporate role after a few years and began helping people find jobs. This position gave her the opportunity to interact with both companies and people looking for work and she quickly learned that she had a knack for helping people get what they wanted. She found this career to be extremely rewarding and enjoyed many successes along the way. She was promoted up the corporate ladder every couple of years. In 2004, she was named President of the company that she began her career with.

Ruth McCurdy has delighted audiences across the US with humor, wisdom, inspiration, and great nuts-and-bolts content. Beginning her career in staffing as a receptionist, Ruth learned quickly that making a difference in the lives of the people she came in contact with was her sole mission. Always a teacher at heart, Ruth discovered that building relationships and helping others reach their goals would help her achieve her own. Through that giving spirit she has touched the lives of thousands of people through training, motivating, and mentoring.

Both Brenda and Ruth have a passion for the hearts of women, and found themselves trying to juggle their careers with all the other roles they play. Being Moms (their favorite roles by the way) sisters, friends, and business owners keeps them busy, but they’ve found a way to balance their passion and their responsibilities so that they can enjoy “wonderous” lives. They’ll share their approach to creating balance and harmony among all of the things that matter most.

The messages that these Wonderous Women will be sharing will touch us at our very core. You'll want to spend some quiet time to consider how their messages can create action in your life.

Your cruise experience

Thanks to a dazzling, top to bottom renovation, the popular Majesty of the Seas is more majestic than ever. Bahamas bound guests will enjoy a newly remodeled pool deck, expanded Day Spa & Fitness Center, plus tastefully refurbished staterooms, featuring luxurious bedding and eye-popping flat-screen TVs and more.

Whether you choose to sit by the pool, enjoy a luxurious spa treatment, explore all of the restaurants on board or shop for treasures you'll find your onboard experience to be one you'll not soon forget! We'll start each day with a 90 minute workshop and then you'll be free to enjoy all that the ship has to offer as well as the beautiful ports of call.

Nassau

The Bahamas' capital has beautiful beaches and charming old-world architecture. But Nassau is also a vital contemporary area offering shopping, restaurants and more. Cross the bridge to Paradise Island to see the extravagant resorts, or discover more than 300 species of beautiful plants and flowers at the Royal Victoria Garden.

CocoCay℠

This private island paradise is available exclusively to Royal Caribbean guests. Its sugar-white beaches are a wonderland of adventure and activity. With nature trails and aquatic facilities, CocoCay offers activities for everyone, from parasailing to sipping delicious "Coco Locos" on a hammock. And every visit to this exciting port is topped off with a mouth-watering beachside barbeque.

Evenings will be spent with a delicious dining experience, and entertainment provided by world-class performers from all over the globe star in awe-inspiring original shows by Royal Caribbean Productions. It could be a contemporary stage production or a Las Vegas-inspired floorshow, a headline musical act, or a fast and loose live comedy show. No matter which show is on stage, one thing's for sure-it'll leave you cheering.

You'll still have some evening left after a show, so you may want to try your luck in the casino, have a nightcap or dance the night away in many of the clubs on board.
